Jack is one special guy. He is a Blue Nose Pit Bull who was orphaned when his owner, a young soldier, had to leave to serve a tour of duty overseas and didn't have anyone to take care of him. Jack was taken to a shelter in the hope he would find a new home. The Foundation received an email about his plight and stepped in to save him. His story was featured on the TV show Good Day LA, where Jack joined Katherine Heigl and her sister Meg in the studio, to show off his amazing personality.
Jackie Boy is such a big love. He's a fabulous, gentle, affectionate dog who adores walks and playing with children. He just wants to be loved and will steal a special place in your heart!
